Wild Indigo is a perennial plant that grows naturally in Canada and the United States. In the past, Native tribes used the root of this plant for various skin conditions, and the same uses continue today. Wild Indigo root is also known for its potent immune-supporting properties. You can find it as an ingredient in Penn Herb's Echinacea-Goldenseal immune and respiratory liquid extract blend.
NOTE: Wild Indigo is not the same source of the vibrant dye found in True Indigo (Indigofera tinctoria).
