Steak Sandwich with Arugula and Gorgonzola Cheese
Ingredients
- 4 thinly sliced top sirloin steaks
- Kosher salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup olive oil, plus 2 Tbs
- 4 slices tomato
- 1 cup arugula
- 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese
- 4 rolls French bread, or any other crusty bread
Directions
- Preheat skillet. Salt and pepper steaks.
- Drizzle pan with 2 Tbs olive oil. Cook steak over medium heat for 12 minutes on each side.
- Grate garlic into 1/4 cup olive oil and stir to combine.
- Serve steak on French rolls topped with tomato, arugula, Gorgonzola, and garlic-olive oil.
