Made with coconut oil, just like real movie theater popcorn.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs coconut oil (or enough to coat bottom of saucepan)
  • Popping corn (enough for single layer in saucepan)
  • 1 pinch salt, or to taste
  • Melted butter (optional)

Directions

  • Add coconut oil to saucepan.
  • Heat over medium heat and add popcorn. Pop until you can count 2 seconds in between popping corns.
  • Remove from heat, still covered, and let the corn continue to pop until it stops—about 2 minutes.
  • Top with salt and melted butter, if desired.
