Ham with Brown Sugar-Mustard Glaze
Ingredients
- 1 spiral sliced ham
- 1/4 cup brown mustard
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 oz bourbon, in a spray bottle (or water)
- 2 cups crushed ginger snap cookies
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250F. Remove ham from packaging and rinse well.
- Place ham, cut side down, in a roasting pan. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake ham until the internal temperature is 130F.
- Remove ham from oven and turn oven temperature to 350F. Apply mustard with a brush liberally all over ham.
- Press brown sugar into the mustard on the ham.
- Spritz the ham with bourbon.
- Press crushed ginger snap cookies into the ham.
- Bake at 350F uncovered until internal temperature reaches 150F.
