Tender, sweet, and delicious. These ribs are the way to just about anyone's heart.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork spare ribs
  • 1 Tbs butter
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 2 Tbs dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 250F.
  • In a bowl, whisk together ketchup, barbecue sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add ribs and brown on both sides. Place ribs, meat side down, in a 913 inch baking pan. Add diced onions to dish and cover with sauce.
  • Cover baking dish with tin foil and bake in the oven for 4 to 4 hours until meat is tender and easily falls off the bone.
