This culinary spice, which commonly complements bean dishes, is a pleasing remedy for indigestion, gas, and other gastrointestinal complaints.
In the kitchen, Summer Savory, also known as Bean Herb in Germany, lends its sharp almost piney, peppery flavor to bean dishes and soups, to flavor sauces, or simply as a substitute for pepper.

Common use:
Indigestion, improves digestion; gas; nausea; cramps; sore throat (gargle); culinary spice (used both finely chopped or dried).
Suggested directions:
To prepare as an “instant tea”: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ¼ to ½ teaspoonful of powder. Drink 1-2 cups of tea daily. If desired add honey and/or lemon to suit taste.
