Technical Grade Potassium Nitrate
Potassium Nitrate, also known as Saltpeter is used in incense making. A classic aromatherapy guide noted that it is the substance which helps incense to burn slowly and evenly.
The saltpeter is usually mixed with water, which is then used to soak the charcoal, or it is combined dry with other ingredients. <br><br>NOTE: Nature’s Wonderland Potassium Nitrate is in a “prilled” (pelletized form) - NOT A GRANULATED POWDER. This is a “technical grade” product and is not recommended for internal or food use. For food grade Saltpeter see item number 336cp.
