Combava Petitgrain or Makrut Lime is the preferred essential oil for maximum strength insect repellent blends because it yields an intense citrus oil reminiscent of Lemongrass and contains an exceptionally high content of citronellal, the main compound in Citronella oil.

Common use:
AROMATHERAPY USES: Energizing, purifying, stimulating, uplifts mood. Blends well with: Bergamot, Cypress, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Myrrh, Ylang Ylang.
Other Uses:
Insect repellent; personal perfume blend; refreshing bath, massage oil.
Suggested directions:
With few exceptions, essential oils must be properly diluted before applying to the skin. See our carrier oils such as Jojoba oil, Sweet Almond oil, Coconut oil, and Olive oil. Basic Dilution Guidelines: 2-5 drops essential oil to 1 teaspoon carrier oil; 6-15 drops essential oil to 1 tablespoon carrier oil. Vary according to preference & strength of essential oils.
